Lost Planet PS3 Demo Hits US PlayStation Store Today

lpps3boxfront_psd_jpgcopy.jpgWord just dropped in my inbox from Capcom that a demo for the PS3 version of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition is set to be released with today’s US PlayStation Store update. Sadly, the demo will only offer a sampling of the game’s multiplayer, featuring one map (Pirate Fortress), Elimination and Team Elimination play modes (no Post Grab or Fugitive), and limited support for eight players (full game will support 16 max). I haven’t had a chance to get on my PS3 to check and see if it’s up already, but Sony’s store updates usually come later in the evening so I doubt it’s live quite yet. I’ll be checking here in a few hours, though, that’s for sure.
