Machinarium Pirate Amnesty Sale

If you pirated Machinarium, the game’s developer, Amanita Design, is offering you a shot at redemption. And if you just haven’t played this wonderful adventure game yet, now’s your chance to do so at a really cheap price.

Until August 12th, Amanita is selling Machinarium at a 75% discount, bringing the total price down to only $5. That fiver gets you the game in all three versions (Windows, Mac and 32bit Linux) and the game’s soundtrack in MP3 format.

Amanita released the game last year without DRM of any kind, but apparently that move backfired, as the indie Czech developer estimates that a whopping 85-95% of those who played the game pirated it. So, if you happen to be part of that swashbuckling majority, give Amanita $5 of your support and buy back a little respect.
