No gaming system launch goes by without loads of third-party accessory manufacturers licking their chops at the mere thought of cashing in on the hoopla with various gadgets and gizmos — some worthwhile, most blatant money wasters. Mad Catz is one such company getting ready for the expected US March launch of the 3DS, and at CES the leading accessory developer unveiled its lineup of launch-day accouterments to Nintendo’s glasses-free 3D handheld.
As expected, there is some filler, like screen protectors and replacement stylus packs. But there are also two quality case options. I particularly like the look of the Traveler Bag, which appears to be a nice travel companion for long road trips as well as a compact case for at-home storage. Hell, I’d like one right now for my regular DS! The Microsuede SlipCase wallet sure looks classy too, and is more of an everyday carry-around.

The Nintendo 3DS Traveler Bag seems reasonable at MSRP: $19.99 and it looks sheek and durable i would get the Nintendo 3DS Microsuede SlipCase at MSRP: $12.99 which seems ok (slightly expensive for its size) as an accent but the Nintendo 3DS Extendable Stylus 3-Pak at MSRP: $5.99 seems very expensive but all in all i would get the entire set
I just want something that can fit in my pocket.
I was a little more worried about the screens, so I did some research and found that at PLAYASIA.COM you can get full system protectors, cases and a few other things sent to your home before launch day arrives. I spent 36 something and got a silicon form fitted case for the 3ds and a screen protector like film that wraps around the whole system inside and out. I like to keep my stuff looking new due to a little OCD about preventing scratches.
