Mad Max Revved Up for September Launch

MadMax

Avalanche Studios’ Mad Max game is officially a go for a September 1st North American launch on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The once planned PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions have been taken to the junkyard and turned into scrap metal.

The crew behind the Just Cause games are set to let the iconic Road Warrior rage out across an open-world, post-apocalyptic wasteland, both on foot and behind the wheel in a mix of third-person melee/shooting and car combat. To help on that mission, Warner Bros is offering pre-order customers access to a special Magnum Opus car build called “The Ripper.” This bad boy is tricked out with a V8 engine, upgraded exhaust, custom off-road tires, a ramming grill, and a tuned suspension.
