Exciting day if you’re an EA Sports nut with demos for both Madden NFL 09 and FaceBreaker now being released. Both are currently up on Xbox Live and will be going live with today’s PS3 PlayStation Store update.

At 1.1GB, the Madden 09 demo provides the chance to try out the new Virtual Trainer feature and play in a Madden Moment recreating the NY Giants’ last-minute drive to dethrone the New England Patriots in this past season’s Super Bowl. The FaceBreaker demo, weighing in at a hefty 955MB, features five fighters — main characters Ice, Sparrow and Steve and “celeb” fighters Peter Moore and Kim Kardashian — and two arenas — cave and trailer park — to pummel away with in practice or a 1-round bout. The game’s create-a-boxer and Photo Game Face are available in limited form as well. EA also sent along 10 new FaceBreaker screens to accompany the demo news. Hit the jump for the gallery.
