Get your robes and wands ready, gaming wizards. Arrowhead Games’ satirical PC (and possibly console at some point) action game, Magicka, is finally ready to launch after what seems like a long time in the making. The January 25th digital download release, currently only available through Steam, is a mere three days away. And shortly thereafter, a retail box version will ship across North America and Europe on February 15th.

For those of you who may be learning of Magicka for the first time, it is a 1-4 player fantasy action game inspired by Norse mythology and built upon a dynamic spell-casting system centered around using and combining eight different elements to slay monsters and solve puzzles. The game’s Executive Produce explains further in this new video interview.
