The third chapter in BioWare’s epic Mass Effect trilogy is on tap for a release on Wii U this holiday season as a launch title. EA tucked a fact sheet in with the E3 press materials for the game, but it doesn’t provide any info that isn’t already general knowledge about the previous versions. By that I mean there is no mention of how the gameplay will be adapted to take advantage of the GamePad tablet (I can see BioWare doing some cool stuff with touch screen squad command and stuff like that) or if there will be some sort of primer to bring Nintendo gamers up to speed on the story considering the first two games were never on a Nintendo console. It’ll also be interesting to see if existing DLC packs and the upcoming ‘Extended Cut’ ending make the Wii U cut.
