In reply to MrSnugglez. Your right, Halo is one of the greatest games of all time and just because they don't know a thing about video games doesn't mean they need to go praising games like Far Cry and Doom, They shouldn't own an Xbox.

LOL, why am I responding to something that’s over a year old?

First of all, if you have played enough shooters to compare them to Halo (and have played through all of the Halo games) you don’t have much of a life to begin with. :’D We should bask in what fun our nerdy little lives bring us; stop being n00bz.

Aaanyway… I’m a hardcore Halo fan (I’m a total Master Chief fangirl), and I really think that the MC costume is cool. Like, really cool. But, it’s a matter of opinion – and it’s not like gamers will ever be able to level with each other. We’re far too arrogant and self-satisfied (it helps our pathetic little lives seem ever so brighter).

Then again, I always buy the limited/special editions. I want them, and my OCD wouldn’t let me do it any other way. So, whether MC was promised to me or not, I’d still pay the $20.

to Q man, you really dont know what your talking about, america doesnt blow up, the missles detonate above the ocean and only a little debris makes it to american soil.
and for the others, i present my opinion. Halo is a very enjoyable game that has an above average campain and a very customizable mulitplayer system. i personally own all four halo games as well as odst when it comes out but i cannot play the game now since it has become too stale.
for COD4, the multiplayer is very good, except it is the same thing over and over. although it is the same thing, i was able to enjoy it immensely until it was stolen. the campain is exceptional because it made me feel so many different things. i forgot the name of the developing studio but they are incredibly good at giving you a story that will stick in your mind. (or at least the feeling of it).
at this moment, both halo and COD are great in my book. halo has a great multiplayer and COD has a great campain so i will be getting odst and modern warfare immediatly when they both come out.

Man I ao tired of hearing you COD4 Nerds ramble on about how its supposable so much better than Halo, you guys are ridiculous, the reason Halo has such a good Fanbase is soley for the fact that Bungie can make better story for Campaign
than COD cn ever dream of imagining. I mean　ＣＯＭＥ　ＯＮ! America blows upin COD, Thatwould Never Happen!

“For the record, Gearbox is NOT working on a Halo title for Microsoft.”

Fat chance of that. There’s Halo 3: ODST, then Halo Reach, and then there are rumors floating around strongly suggesting that Gearbox is working on a Halo 4. Halo is a cash cow and MSoft won’t stop milking it unless gamers lose interest.

Well, it appears that there are some more Halo items to find in the new DLC add-on. Not the same Halo armor as was in the CE though. Apparently you can trade in exp at the Box of Secrets and gain the Halo Assault Rifle as a long range weapon. Don’t know from first-hand experience since I have no desire to buy the add-on, but I’ve seen screen grabs that prove it’s true.
