Medal of Honor: Warfighter Multiplayer Beta Goes Loud Early October

EA and Danger Close Games are recruiting Xbox 360 warfighters for an open multiplayer beta test of the next Medal of Honor, scheduled to begin worldwide in early October exclusively for Xbox Live Gold members.

The Medal of Honor Warfighter beta will feature a brand new multiplayer mode called HotSpot, where players attack and defend randomly-selected locations on the Sarajevo Stadium map in Bosnia. Inspired by real life operations, players team-up in pairs using the game’s unique co-op Fireteam system for a competitive advantage on the battlefield.

Continuing its promotional relationship with Linkin Park, EA will also be releasing a new music video for the band’s “Castle of Glass” single. The music video will premiere five days into the testing, or once the beta reaches three million downloads, whichever comes first. Beta players will also kick off their careers as multiplayer super soldiers with an hour of Double XP to use when the full game launches.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter ships October 23rd for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
