Mega Man Joins the Super Smash Bros. Mascot Brawl on 3DS and Wii U

The next Super Smash Bros. installment is coming to both 3DS and Wii U in 2014. That’s great news on its own. Wanna know what’s even better news? Mega Man, the Blue Bomber himself, is finally joining the franchise as a third-party guest star fighter.

Mega. Frickin’. Man!

As you can see from the “New Challenger Approaching” reveal trailer, Mega Man is joining the Smash Bros. fight armed with his Buster cannon and his trusty robotic dog, Rush, by his side. He can also smack his Mushroom Kingdom foes upside the head with classic special attacks he’s stolen from boss robots over the years, from Metal Man’s Metal Blades to Wood Man’s Leaf Shield to Sword Man’s Flame Sword. Kick some ass, Mega Man!

Next up is the full reveal trailer for the dual-platform Super Smash Bros.. He’s not on Mega Man’s level of fame, but there is another new challenger approaching: an Animal Crossing villager!
