Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Sneaks Onto Vita June 12th

After a bit of a post-launch lull, the PlayStation Vita is heading into the summer with a bang. Resistance: Burning Skies drops in less than two weeks. Then, shortly after that, Gravity Rush mixes things up with its crazy gravity-twisting action. Gravity Rush will be shipping on June 12th, which now just so happens to also be the exact same launch date for the Vita version of Konami’s Metal Gear Solid HD Collection. Portable snake eating and son liberating for the win!

As you’ve probably heard by now, the Vita Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will not include Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker like its PS3 counterpart. That sucks, big time. However, the collection will still feature the freshly dolled-up HD editions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, plus a rebalanced user interface, touchscreen capabilities, and Transfarring support for sharing trophies and save files between PS3 and Vita.
