Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus Trailer

At Sony’s PlayStation Premiere event in Tokyo today, Konami announced a new expansion to last year’s spectacular Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops for the PSP. The new expansion, titled Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus, focuses mostly on adding to the online play, introducing a bunch of new multiplayer stages, characters, recruitment methods and modes. A new single-player Infinity Mission mode is also being added, though details on it and the other features haven’t been revealed yet.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops + is due out in Japan on September 20th and will retail by itself for 2,400 yen and bundled with the original PO for 4,300 yen. North American/European release plans were not announced. Check out the game’s trailer debut below.
