Metal Gear Solid – Tactical Espionage Fashion

Last year’s PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker was already one of the most heavily cross-promoted game releases in history. There were audio headsets, limited editions, bundles, t-shirt lines, in-game product placements, and even a camoflauge Sony Walkman.

Now brace yourself for ‘Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker – The Clothing Line for Men!’

That’s right! The latest installment in the Metal Gear Solid series is getting its own dedicated fashion line created through a partnership between Konami and global licensing and merchandising company, musterbrand.

The clothing line goes on sale online in North America beginning April 11th, starting with coats, sweatshirts, pants, t-shirts and hats designed with clothing worn by characters from the game as inspiration. From there, new Peace Walker gear will be released quarterly throughout the remainder of the year.

Specifics on pricing and where the line will actually be solid has not yet been announced. If the price is right, I may just have to get myself a Peace Walker hoodie. You can never have too many hoodies!
