ModNation Racers Gets Zippier Load Times, Casual Difficulty and More Next Week

The ModNation Racers patch United Front Games has had in its mod shop since the game’s release in May will finally go live next week. Among the fixes will be better-optimized load times said to run upwards of 50% faster than those of the current build, a “Casual” difficulty setting to appease those too frustrated by the tough AI racers to complete the story mode, friendly XP races, improved online performance to (hopefully) nix those annoying server disconnects, and a few other tweaks and balances.

Check out IGN’s early scoop at the following link for a few more details, and also be sure to swing by the US PlayStation blog on Monday for a complete patch overview straight from United Front Games. You can read my review of the game here.
