One of the first standout games coming to Nintendo platforms this year is Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. Thankfully, 3DS and Wii U gamers antsy to get their ultimate Monster Hunter fix won’t have to wait too much longer.

Both versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate have been locked into a North American street date of March 19th (March 22nd’s the date in Europe). During the launch timeframe, both versions will also be made available for purchase from each platform’s respective eShop digital storefront.

If you can’t wait that long, a playable demo will be released on February 21st. Again, it’ll be available across 3DS and Wii U.

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Wii U will support four-player online and voice chat while the 3DS version will be limited to local multiplayer. As a neat cross-platform bonus feature, up to three 3DS systems will be able to connect locally with one Wii U console for another form of local co-op.
