I definitely agree with that. The fact that the PSP-2000’s main change was its slimmer design wasn’t enough to entice me into upgrading over my PSP “fat”. But a sexier screen, now that will get me to upgrade. Better image quality is a big deal in a portable. Didn’t use to think so, but when I went from a GBP SP to the Micro it totally blew me away. Even though the Micro’s screen was smaller, it’s brighter lighting and colors was so worth it.
I think sales will probably be pretty good. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were many early PSP adopters like me who didn’t bite on the Slim but will bite on the 3000.
