MotorStorm 2 Announced, Due Out This Fall

Motorstorm2.jpg Today on the PlayStation.Blog, Sony made its official unveil of MotorStorm 2, sequel to last year’s incredibly fun but somewhat underdeveloped PS3 off-road racer. Set for a PS3 release this fall, MotorStorm 2 will take its brand of off-roading from the dry, mountainous desert environments of the original and move to a more exotic Pacific island locale packed with 16 new “multi-route” tracks set in and around swamps, jungles, rivers, mountains and volcanoes. In addition to the returning vehicle types, the new monster truck class is also on the way for the sequel, along with 16-player online and, in response to rabid fan request, four-player split-screen play. Check out the teaser trailer for a sneak peek of what’s to come. And before you ask, yes, it is pre-rendered.
