Citizens of Steamville, or PC gamers if you prefer, you are about to be invaded by alien mutant blobs with growling bellies and a penchant to eat everything in sight.

On August 15th, Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack rolls onto the Steam Marketplace with only one goal: to gobble up the hearts and minds of mouse-and-keyboard gamers around the world. (Okay, and maybe some cash, too!)

DrinkBox Studios’ standout PlayStation Vita launch title comes to PC with a wealth of platform-tailored content, including Steam Achivements, cloud saves, leaderboards, new mini-game levels, higher resolutions, control support for mouse and keyboard and gamepads, and even more of the ’50s-era sci-fi ‘B’ movie humor and references that make the Tales from Space universe so damn loveable.

Read up on our discussion review for the original version to see why you’re gonna want to buy this one if you missed it on the Vita (or buy it again to replay on the big screen). Also, here’s the official Steam teaser plus some screenshots.

Matt got his first taste of gaming as a youngster on the NES and Atari, and the rest is history from there. In 2004, three years removed from high school and still looking for a career direction in life, Matt landed his first gig in the video game review business writing for the now-defunct website BonusStage.com. After the sad and untimely close of BonusStage, the former staff went on to found VGBlogger.com, and after a short stint as US Site Manager for AceGamez Matt turned his attention to VGBlogger, and to this day is dedicated to making it one of the top video game blogs in all the blogosphere. Matt is a fair-minded reviewer and lover of games of all platforms and types, big or small, hyped or niche, big-budget or indie. But that doesn't mean he will let poor games slide without a good thrashing when necessary.
