New Assassin’s Creed Compilation Celebrates the Birth of America

As if two new Assassin’s Creed launches this fall weren’t enough already, Ubisoft is going straight up overkill with today’s announcement of Assassin’s Creed the Americas Collection.

Available October 28th only for PS3 and Xbox 360, the Americas Collection will contain three previously released Assassin’s Creed titles “that witnessed the birth of modern America.” Those three games are Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation HD, and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Of course, this time next year don’t be surprised if there’s an “Americas Collection Part Duex” adding Assassin’s Creed: Rogue to the pot since that game is part of the same story continuity.

If you haven’t played any of the games or simply want a more collectible set to showcase in your game library, the collection should definitely be worth picking up. Depending on the price, of course, as Ubisoft has not yet announced how much the triple combo pack will cost. Assassin’s Creed III wasn’t so successful, but Liberation (reviewed here) and Black Flag (reviewed here) did the franchise proud.
