New Games on Wii’s Virtual Console

bonk_bash.jpgSo yesterday I got home, started up my Wii, and entered the virtual console on the off chance that there would be something new for me to purchase. Low and behold, it seems that the Turbo Graphix 16 titles that we were promised at launch finally made an appearance as Bonk’s Adventure and Bomberman ’93 were available.

Back when I was a kid, I had always wanted to play Bonk’s Adventure because it looked like a good game to a ten year old. However, I guess this is when I began getting frugal with gaming purchases as no other game on this oddball Turbo Graphix system really interested me, so I couldn’t justify asking my parents for it as a holiday gift. Luckily Nintendo has decided to prey on my adolescent desires and now I can experience Bonk by itself for 600 Wii Points ($6), after purchasing a $250 system of course.

This is the part where I’d give a small review of the title, however when I attempted to add more Wii Points to my account last night (something I already accomplished on Sunday) I received an error. I’ll try this again tonight and see what happens.
