New PSP Battery Charger Hits Retail

Pairing up with the new PSP Extended Life Battery Kit that was announced last month (and should be in stores now if the mid-December release date held true), Sony has confirmed the release of a new PSP Battery Charger model. As you can see from the provided hardware shots, the Battery Charger is compatible with the PSP-1000 and PSP-2000, which makes it a perfect mate for the extended life battery. As far as availability and pricing details are concerned, I just heard back from SCEA a few minutes ago with confirmation that the charger is available now and retails for $34.99. If you needed a last-minute stocking stuffer idea for the PSP gamer on your holiday shopping list, I’d say you just got one…
