Since Sega picked up publishing duties for High Voltage’s The Conduit back in October, promotion on the game seemed to go completely dark. But this week the vaunted Wii-exclusive FPS finally reemerged in the form of these two new videos. The first one is a trailer comparing the current status of the game’s development to its very early conceptual design, complete with side-by-side comparison shots showing how much the graphics have improved since the very beginning. After that is a new development diary touching on a bunch of the game’s biggest features: AI, adaptive music, customizable control schemes, motion blur, death effects…you name a feature and it’s probably covered here. My favorite part has to be the fully customizable HUD. It allows you to move around every single HUD element (health bar, ammo indicator, etc.) to the position of your liking very much like an MMORPG. Very cool stuff.
