Hey all. Wanted to provide a quick heads up that we’ve installed a new video player for our trailers to finally get rid of those unsightly Flash logos, as you may have noticed in the two previously posted videos. We’re still tinkering around with a few things, but all in all it looks a bit more appealing on the page (example shot above). So far it’s been working perfectly in Firefox and IE7, but as is the case whenever we implement something new, please give us feedback in the comments if you have problems getting videos to load or come across any bugs.

Matt landed his first gig in the video game review business writing for the now-defunct website BonusStage.com. After the sad and untimely close of BonusStage, the former staff went on to found VGBlogger.com. Matt is a fair-minded reviewer and lover of games of all platforms and types, big or small, hyped or niche, big-budget or indie. But that doesn't mean he will let poor games slide without a good thrashing when necessary!
Is this also going to replace the GameTrailers stuff? Because from work I can get the Flash and the site, but GT is blocked.
I wanted to add that the above is an image. Once Matt made this post I clicked on the thing about 10 times before I realized that.
Sorry about that Zach lol. I wrote that it was just an example shot in the post though.
As for GameTrailers videos, it won’t replace that. I embed GT stuff if it’s a trailer or special video that they get exclusively or a video that requires an age gate. We’ve been looking and looking but can’t find a player with an age gate built in. Like with all the Far Cry 2 trailers, I’ve received those from Ubisoft but they require an age gate on them so I’ve had to link to the GT versions instead.
