Nexuiz’s Dynamic Mutators in Action

Launching February 29th as part of the Xbox Live Arcade ‘House Party’ promotion, with late arrivals on PC and PS3 digital download networks scheduled for the spring, Nexuiz is a modern take on old school multiplayer first-person twitch arena shooters, fueled by CryENGINE 3 tech to bring added visual pop to the game’s futuristic Victorian art style. Chief among the game’s list of features are Dynamic Mutators, over 100 power-ups players will be able to grab to activate special abilities. Uber Melee adds an explosive wallop to melee strikes. Color Blind turns the graphics black and white. Jet Packs, well, they’re self explanatory. Here’s a trailer highlighting some of these slick mutator powers, plus a handful of new screenshots.

Nexuiz is developed by IllFonic and published by THQ. It will sell for 800 Microsoft Points.
