Reports out of Namco Bandai’s Global Gamers Day event have Level-5 and Studio Ghibli’s collaborative PS3-exclusive JRPG, Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, slipping out of its previously announced Winter 2012 North American launch to an early 2013 target alongside the European release. That’s a good news / bad news scenario, the way I see it. Good news: The hardly mainstream game stands a far better chance of gaining attention outside of the crowded holiday season. Bad news: The game is so beautifully animated and so damned charming, as reaffirmed by this new trailer, that the delay until next year is surely going to be an unbearable wait for JRPG fans.
