Nintendo DS Goes Green for Spring

This Sunday, May 3rd, Nintendo will launch a brand new DS Lite color: a vibrant green scheme signifying the growth and rejuvenation of springtime. The new green DS Lite will come bundled with a copy of Personal Trainer: Cooking and an appropriately themed carrying case for those who like to coordinate their gaming travel gear according to season. This makes it a perfect gift for Mother’s Day, at least according to Nintendo.

Nintendo didn’t provide any pricing with today’s announcement, but past bundles have been $150 so I imagine it’ll be the same. Seems like a strange time to promote a new DS Lite color when the DSi just launched, but I guess some folks out there may not be interested in the DSi enhancements.
