Although the following list is straight from Nintendo Japan, U.S. Wii owners should feel confident that some (if not all) of the games should make it stateside in the near future as well. I’d say the biggest one for me out of the list is the inclusion of Mario Kart 64. I love Mario Kart, and it’s unfortunate that this is a direct port as I’m sure everyone would have loved to have seen some multiplayer action take place on this thing. Oh well. I guess we’ll have to wait for the Wii version of Mario Kart to hit before we see anything of the sort.
Launching in Japan during the month of January are:
NES
Ikki (500)
Ice Climbers (500)
Kid Icarus (500)
Zelda II: Link’s Adventure (500)
SNES
Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu (900)
N64
Mario Kart 64 (1000)
Sega Genesis
Bonaza Brothers (600)
Gain Ground (600)
TurboGrafx-16
Alien Crush (Already in U.S.) (600)
Moto Roader (600)
R-Type II (600)
Soldier Blade (600)

Man, that pisses me off! I mean, sure, I could go play Double Dash, that’s not a problem. I’m actually pissed because THEY GET KID ICARUS AND AND AND ZELDA II!!!!! I mean, our selection so far isn’t a dream. Oh….and they get Fire Emblem.
