Nintendo Spring Media Summit 08: First Samba De Amigo Screens

Having been announced back in October, you would’ve thought that Sega would’ve released at least a few screenshots for Samba De Amigo by now, but not even a single one has seen the light of day before now. Finally, though, the first screens from the maraca-shaking Wii rhythm game have emerged (along with box and character art), and the wait was definitely worth it as the game looks vibrantly beautiful. Due out this summer, Samba De Amigo will feature 40+ songs (some new, some favs from the original game), two-player co-op and competitive play, a packed roster of play modes and mini-games, Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection support for online leaderboards and friend’s lists, and a clever dual Wii Remote control option that’ll allow you to shake those maracas without being tethered to the Nunchuk (though you’ll be able to if you don’t have a second remote).
