Nintendo Unveils Summer Lineup, MP3 Dated!

Nintendo

As the summer months come around, the gaming industry usually slows down as far as major game releases are concerned before things kick into overdrive for the fall and winter holiday rush. But Nintendo appears set to put an end to that trend this year — for Wii and DS owners at least — today disclosing the full summer game lineup for its hot console and handheld platforms. The most significant revelation coming from the announced lineup is the long-awaited release date for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, which is now officially due out for the Wii on August 20. Other notable first-party summer releases include Mario Strikers Charged (July 30), Battalion Wars 2 (September), Chibi-Robo: Park Patrol (September 24), Brain Age 2: More Training in Minutes a Day (August 20), and Picross DS (July 30).
