Oh Noes! Something Ate My DS Copy of Plants vs. Zombies!

Sometimes I get the most excited about the tiniest of things, and one of those times happened to be this very day.

A DS copy of Plants vs. Zombies came in today from PopCap, and when I ripped open the bubble mailer I was instantly delighted by the game’s packaging. A collectible rarity for games these days, the box comes inside one of those outer slip covers. But not just any slip cover; this slip cover has a big chunk eaten out of the top after clearly being munched on by a pesky brain eater, with the worried eyes of a wall-nut peering through. I don’t know about you, but little touches like this really put a smile on my face.

Oh, and the game doesn’t come with an instruction manual either. It comes with an “Instructions Thingy.” You gotta love PopCap carrying the game’s humor through to the packaging!
