Overlord Set to Raise Hell on PS3

olordrh_pack_p3_esrb_rgb.jpgBack last summer when Overlord originally shipped for the PC and Xbox 360, I vaguely recollect rumors claiming that Triumph Studios was planning to port the game over to PS3, and at the time those rumors were shot down. But obviously the rumors have turned out to be correct in the end, with Codemasters announcing this week that the humorously evil action/adventure title is indeed coming to PS3, and it’s coming this summer.

More than just a straight port, the PS3 edition is being released as Overlord: Raising Hell, which means it’ll be packed with the Raising Hell expansion and all the other content that was recently released for the 360 version as download add-on packs. But that’s still not all. The PS3 version is also said to sport enhanced visuals, a 7.1 surround sound audio system, and added gameplay features such as an in-game mini-map and more. So it seems like another PS3 port will turn out better in the end for lagging behind.
