Uh oh, looks like the PC version of another big multi-platform game may be getting the short end of the stick. GameSpot is reporting that THQ and Volition have had to indefinitely delay the PC version of Red Faction: Guerrilla. The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions are on track to ship on June 2nd — a whole week earlier than the previously announced June 9th launch date — however the PC version is now back to a vague summertime launch window, so there’s no telling how long or short the delay is. Could be just a few weeks, could be a couple months. We just don’t know.

It has shown Aug. 25th at GameStop for a while so that was about what I planned, so it isn’t a big deal to me (other than the fact that it is a 4rd party port)
Ah, never noticed that. So I guess GameStop got something right for once lol. Aug. 25th is a pretty substantial delay if that’s an accurate date.
Just sucks, because I was planning on us doing a discussion review for this one 🙁
… and I assume there is no way in heck you’re waiting 3 months for the PC to catch up? 😀
Hell no I’m not waiting 3 months 😉
If it were to follow within a month at the most I’d definitely try to hold out, but if the PC really doesn’t come out until Aug. that’s just too long to wait.
No worries. From the sounds of it the PC version is a port rather than a ‘unified codebase release’, so when I look at it I will be dealing with that stuff as well …
