Persona 4 Gets Remastered for PS Vita


Following in the successful footsteps of the enhanced PSP re-release of Persona 3, Atlus USA has confirmed plans to remaster critically acclaimed PlayStation 2 JRPG Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 for North American release this fall, exclusively on PlayStation Vita.

Dubbed Persona 4 Golden, this remastered edition of the console role-playing classic will come loaded with upgrades and extras, even some “tweaks and changes” that have been suggested by fans. Here’s a quick checklist of what additional goodies have been confirmed thus far:

– Enhanced visuals sure to have players drooling over their Vita’s gorgeous screen
– 1.5 times the voiced dialogue of the original release
– New Personas
– Brand new story events
– All-new character
– New anime cutscenes
– New intro sequence with a new song composed by Shoji Meguro
– An online “Dungeon Rescue” feature that will allow players to call upon the aid of other players when about to die in TV world
