Phantom Brave Wii Gets Japanese Voice Overs, Delayed Until August

I have good news and bad news to tell you about in regards to Phantom Brave: We Meet Again, the upcoming Wii-make of cult classic PS2 SRPG Phantom Brave.

Good news first: NIS has worked out a deal to add dual English/Japanese voice-over tracks to the game. Fans wanted Japanese voice overs, and NIS listened. You have to love publishers that go the extra mile to please their fans like this.

The bad news: because of the extra programming and debugging required to implement the dual language tracks, NIS has had to delay the game’s release. It was original scheduled to be in stores by the end of June, but now it won’t be out until August 4th.

Ultimately it’s a worthy trade-off.
