Pinball FX2 Will Support Cross-Buy on Windows 10 and Xbox One

Zen Studios, self-publishing via the ID@Xbox program, has announced plans to release Pinball FX2 later this year as a launch title for Windows 10. Yippee!

But that’s only half of the good news. Pinball FX2 will support cross-buy between Windows 10 and Xbox One, which means buying a table for one platform unlocks access to play that table across all Windows 10 enabled devices and Xbox One consoles at no additional charge.

Cross-buy has been a staple of the PlayStation ecosystem for a while now, but this model goes a step further by spreading the value across console, mobile, and PC. I’m sure we’ll be hearing about a bunch more cross-buy titles very soon.
