Pinball FX2 Xbox One Launch Delayed, But for a Very Good Reason

Pinball FX2 was finally going to be making its Xbox One debut this week on July 31st, but today Zen Studios has confirmed that the launch has been pushed back until sometime next month. This is actually very good news.

When Zen first announced the Xbox One plans a couple weeks ago, the news was soured a bit by the revelation that existing owners of Pinball FX2 on Xbox 360 would not be able to import their previously purchased tables into the Xbox One version. Justifiably, reaction to this announcement was met with extreme disappointment. Zen took all the feedback in, shared it with Microsoft and immediately began working with the company behind all things Xbox to rectify the situation.

Which brings us to today’s big news: Pinball FX2 on Xbox One will support free Xbox 360 table imports from day one! The new launch date hasn’t been confirmed as of yet, but the extra time to build in the transfer feature is the reason for the delay to August. I’m sure Xbox pinball wizards are more than happy to wait a little longer to play the game instead of getting the game now and having to rebuy all their favorite tables.
