PopCap Games’ ridiculously addictive tower defense game, Plants vs. Zombies, has yet another platform to call its home, with a DS version confirmed to be in development for release in January 2011.

The DS version, to sell for $20, will come with every last drop of gameplay and content from the original PC release, including the Adventure, Survival and Puzzle modes, and the mini-games. Much like the upcoming XBLA version, DS players will also be treated to “new and exclusive game content.” What exactly that new content is, though, remains to be seen.
