PlayStation Store Update – 11/01/07

After a dull update last week, Sony has fired back with an action-packed Thursday of PlayStation Store downloads this week. Demos for TimeShift and Need for Speed ProStreet headline the update, along with a new PSone classic release in Twisted Metal 2 ($5.99). Game trailers are in abundance as well, featuring titles like Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Burnout Paradise, Beowulf, Need for Speed ProStreet, GT5 Prologue and a video for the PlayStation Eye, backed up by movie trailers for The Bucket List and Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Closing out today’s update are a whopping 14 cheat add-on packs for The Godfather: Don’s Edition. Only three are free, while the rest will cost you a couple bucks each (upwards of $7.49 for the most expensive pack!). They’re all a waste if you ask me though, paying for cheats is lame…

Solid update all around, but next week’s is going to be HUGE! If you hadn’t heard, the demo for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is on its way to the PlayStation Store on November 8th. Hell yeah!
