PlayStation Store Update – 9/13/07

PlayStation Store

Another stellar PlayStation Store update has delivered a wealth of new content for PS3 owners to download this evening, including five demos, two downloadable games, a packed selection of trailers and more. Today’s demo lineup includes PixelJunk Racers, Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, NHL 08, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and FIFA 08. The full version of PixelJunk Racers is also available for purchase at $6.99 should you enjoy the demo sampler, along with SOE’s High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition for $9.99.

For your viewing pleasure, new trailers and videos have been uploaded for Everyday Shooter, Warhawk, Lair, Juiced 2, High Stakes on the Vegas Strip: Poker Edition, Soul Calibur IV and Feel the Noise. And rounding out the update are new Folklore, PixelJunk Racers and High Stakes Poker wallpapers, and a free music track from Lair. Nice to see the release of some audio content, hopefully that’s a sign of more downloadable soundtrack music to come.

Oh yeah, and PS3 firmware update 1.93 has been released as well. You’ll need to download that before enjoying a browse through the new PlayStation Store goods. It’s no big thing, just patches up the network disconnect problem some PS3 owners have been experiencing since firmware 1.92.
