Portal Returns This Holiday Season

We’ve known for nearly two years now that development on a sequel to Valve’s surprise-hit first-person puzzle game Portal was in progress (and the mysterious Steam update earlier this week was another tip-off), but today it’s been made official. Portal 2 is real, and it’s coming out this holiday season!

Don’t get too excited yet, though, because that’s all Valve will say right now. We don’t yet know which platforms it’s being developed for or what new features it will introduce. But thankfully we won’t have to wait long to learn more, as Game Informer will spill the beans on Portal 2 in a 12-page cover story in the upcoming April issue.
