Looks like Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX won’t be the only remastered Square Enix classic to offer a limited edition art book.

Today, it has been confirmed that gamers who pre-order the PS3 version of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster at major North American retailers will receive an automatic upgrade to a limited edition bundle containing an art book. The art book will feature 24 pages of original PS2 concept artwork and developer commentary, plus “a special message from Producer Yoshinori Kitase.”

And speaking of Kitase, the game’s producer has confirmed that Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will feature cross-platform play between PS3 and Vita. A 30 minute audio drama by Scenario Writer Kazueshige Nojima will also be added as a special bonus during the ending credits scroll.

But wait, that’s not all. Before you go scurrying off, check out the new Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster screenshots and SD-vs-HD comparison trailer Square Enix tossed over for us to share. They’re pretty.
