Pre-Order Left 4 Dead, Get 10% Off and Early Demo Access

Left4Dead-Demo.jpg Valve is offering a couple of bonus perks to anyone who pre-orders upcoming co-op survival-horror shooter Left 4 Dead. Reserve the game in any way — via Steam or at retailers for either PC or Xbox 360 — and you’ll get both a 10% discount (which amounts to $5 off) and exclusive early access to the game’s playable demo. The single-player and co-op demo will be released for public consumption on November 11th for both PC and Xbox 360, but those who pre-order will be able to download it on November 6th. Not much of an advance access, but hey, better than nothing I suppose. The discount is nice too, of course.

“Every time someone plays Left 4 Dead, we witness the most overwhelmingly positive reaction that we’ve seen from any of our games,” said Gabe Newell, president and co-founder of Valve. “This gives us tremendous confidence in the product and why we’ve taken the game on the road, produced this pre-launch demo, and invested more advertising dollars on the title than any prior release from Valve.”
