A Halloween trailer for a simulation racing game? What’s up with that? Yeah, okay, so there is no real connection between race cars and a holiday about ghosts, monsters, dressing up and knocking on doors to beg for candy treats, but that’s not stopping Bandai Namco from using the occasion to highlight nighttime racing in Project Cars. With a good paint job, Slightly Mad Studios also shows that cars can be made to look quite terrifying. You better trick or treat your butt off this Halloween, though, because Project Cars was recently delayed from its original November launch to a new street date of March 17, 2015. You’re going to need a lot of sugary confections to help bury the sadness of having to wait until next year to play the most anticipated new racing game to come along in some time.
