At its Gamers’ Day event in San Francisco today, Sony finally gave us what we’ve all been waiting for: a confirmed list of launch titles set to debut alongside the PS3 in North America this holiday season. Between the PS3’s launch window of November 17th and December 31st, Sony promises that a total of 21 titles will be available. Check below for the official roster:
Blazing Angels Squadrons of WWII
Call of Duty 3
EA Sports Fight Night Round 3
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
F.E.A.R.
Full Auto 2: Battlelines
Genji: Days of the Blade
Madden NFL 07
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
Mobile Suit Gundam: Crossfire
NBA 07
NBA 2K7
Need For Speed Carbon
NHL 2K7
Resistance: Fall of Man
Ridge Racer 7
Sonic the Hedgehog
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas
Tony Hawk’s Project 8
Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom
Now, the lineup does indeed consist of a number of ports and multi-platform games, but in comparison to the Xbox 360’s launch lineup from last year I’d say Sony appears to have a better selection to tide gamer’s over until the PS3 really kicks into overdrive next year.
Welcome aboard Matt! Half of the old BonusStage crew is back together. Now all we need are Greg and Josh and we’ll be on our way. 🙂
Glad to be writing with you again!
