Capcom, I guess in sort of a makeup gesture for the XBLA version of Commando 3 providing exclusive access to the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix beta, has decided to give the PSN version of Bionic Commando Rearmed a little extra love over the PC and XBLA versions. Per a message dropped off on the official PlayStation blog by Capcom Producer Ben Judd, the PSN Bionic Commando Rearmed will feature DualShock 3 rumble (no big deal) and full support for PSP Remote Play! It’s not tacked on support either, the controls have actually been reprogrammed to “give players the illusion of using 2 sticks” when played on the PSP. According to Judd, there’s “one more VERY cool surprise” coming to the PSN version too, but as he puts it “that is another story for another time.” Could it be Trophy support, maybe? Hopefully we’ll find out next week during E3.
