Skype has been in service for PSP slim users for months, but only now is Sony finally getting around to releasing its official Skype headset kit. The new Skype-compatible PSP headset has started popping up online and at retailers this week for $30. It looks similar to the SOCOM PSP headset, only now it has a remote control, lighter design and softer, more comfortable earphones.

Update: Just noticed that eStarland got the new Skype PSP headset kit in as well. If you need one, pick it up through them and save a couple bucks. Click here to visit their product page.
