In a new post over at the PlayStation.Blog today, SCEA Line Producer Greg Phillips has dished out an important update concerning Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. First and foremost, Insomniac Games has wrapped up development on their debut PS3 Ratchet & Clank and the title has officially gone gold, putting the game on track to land on store shelves by the end of October. The previously announced October 23rd release date, however, has been slightly pushed back to October 30th, so you’ll have to wait just one more week to get your hands on some Tools of Destruction. To tide you over until the final game ships, Sony will be releasing an updated version of the playable E3 demo for download from the PlayStation Store by October 11th (North American date) — yes, it’s finally almost out!
