Raving Rabbids Do Their Own Thing in Rabbids Go Home

Everyone’s favorite psychotic, party-loving bunnies are set to branch out with their own “standalone brand” this holiday season in Rabbids Go Home, a new comedy-adventure game exclusively for the Wii. Ubisoft’s press release doesn’t state what the whole “standalone brand” thing means exactly, but I’m guessing it has to do with the dropping of the Rayman franchise tag and the shift in direction beyond simple party games.

Ubisoft Montpellier has crafted a brand new engine specifically designed to get the most out of the Wii hardware, bringing the Rabbids’ homeward journey to life with more sizzle and pop than ever before. Details are slim, but apparently the game will center around two Rabbids: one riding in a shopping cart, the other pushing the cart. Much wackiness will surely ensue from there.
