RE4 Wii Edition Ships A Million

Capcom’s decision to port Resident Evil 4 over to the Wii sure has paid off for the company’s bottom line, as the Wii version has now officially cracked the 1 million units shipped milestone and is on track to continued success throughout the holiday season. Normally I don’t care about reading or reporting shipping and sales stats, but it’s always nice to see games of RE4‘s caliber do well and get into the hands of as many gamers as possible. The Halos and GTAs of the world get most of the sales and break all the records, but it’s games like RE4 that truly deserve to. Hopefully the upcoming Wii port of Okami will have the same effect, I’m still saddened and disappointed by how overlooked that game has been outside of the hardcore community…
