Real-Life LeBron James Needs a Pep Talk from “Video Game James”

LeBron James’ early reign as NBA 2K14 cover athlete king isn’t off to a great start. Since ascending to the cover star throne at the start of the NBA Finals, King James has played what I would say have been his three weakest games of the Playoffs (by his lofty standards of course). No surprise then that the Miami Heat now find themselves in a 2-1 hole after a missing-in-action Game 3 performance last night.

Maybe real-life LeBron needs to sit down and watch his digital self, “Video Game James,” from the next-gen reveal of NBA 2K14, remind him that he’s the best player in the world and needs to stop being so passive when it matters most.
